Importing addresses from Excel

You can import your Excel spreadsheet into Direct Mail. To do so, you must first export your spreadsheet as a CSV file. Here's how:

  1. Open your Excel spreadsheet.
  2. Choose File > Save As from the menu bar.
  3. Choose "Comma Separated Values" from the Format popup.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Open Direct Mail.
  6. Choose Addresses > Import from the menu bar.
  7. Choose "Delimited Text File" from the popup menu.
  8. Click Choose.
  9. Select the file you just exported from Excel.
  10. Click Open.
  11. If your spreadsheet has a header row, check "Source file has a header row".
  12. For each column you'd like to import, click the "Don't Import" popup and select which Direct Mail column you'd like to import to.
  13. Click Import
