The update is free and can be downloaded from inside the Direct Mail app by choosing Direct Mail &gt; Check for Software Update from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Here&#8217;s a quick look at some of what&#8217;s changed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Germans users who sync Direct Mail with Daylite will be happy to learn that the &#8220;Individuelle Anrede&#8221; (Individual Salutation) field can now be synced to Direct Mail and included in mail-merge tags.<\/li>\n<li>Several bugs causing crashes, hangs, and high CPU usage (especially when under memory pressure) have been crushed.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re so inclined, you can now <a href=\"https:\/\/directmailmac.com\/support\/article\/402\">hand-pick<\/a> the image that will appear when sharing your campaign via Facebook or Twitter.<\/li>\n<li>Direct Mail now warns you if your choice of From address will run afoul of any DMARC policies (see the recent <a title=\"AOL Follows Yahoo\u2019s Lead in Changing Email Policy\" href=\"https:\/\/directmailmac.com\/blog\/2014\/04\/aol-follows-yahoos-lead-in-changing-email-policy\/\">AOL<\/a> and <a title=\"Yahoo Policy Change May Impact Deliverability\" href=\"https:\/\/directmailmac.com\/blog\/2014\/04\/yahoo-dmarc\/\">Yahoo<\/a> changes).<\/li>\n<li>Support for the <a href=\"http:\/\/newgtlds.icann.org\/en\/\">new gTLDs<\/a> announced by ICANN.<\/li>\n<li>\u2026and many other improvements here and there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More complete details are available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/directmailmac.com\/application\/releasenotes\/364.html\">release notes<\/a>.
