It's easy to add a "Share on Twitter" or "Share on Facebook" link to your message. Most of the built-in templates already include sharing links, but if the template you are using does not, here's how you can add it:
- Go to the Messages tab.
- Choose the message you would like to add a Facebook or Twitter link to.
- Position the cursor where you'd like the link to be inserted.
- Choose Edit > Insert Mail Merge Tag > [twitter share url] or [facebook share url]
You can use the Preview window to test that the links are working correctly.
Linking to Your Facebook or Twitter Page
Note that the [twitter share url] and [facebook share url] mail merge tags are designed to let your readers easily share your campaign on social media. They are not designed to take readers to your Facebook or Twitter pages. If you'd rather have the link go straight to your Facebook or Twitter page, just enter the URL of your Facebook or Twitter page (instead of using the mail merge tag)
