If Direct Mail can't find your project

This help article is for an old version of Direct Mail.

When you open Direct Mail, it will automatically try and open your most recently used project. If, for some reason, Direct Mail is unable to locate or open your most recently used project, you'll be presented with a list of options:

  • Create a new project
  • Open a project on your Mac
  • Open a project from the cloud
  • …and a list of recently accessed Direct Mail projects

If the project you are looking for is not in the list, here are some things to check:

  • If the project is saved in the cloud, select the “Open a project from the cloud” option to open it
  • If the project is saved on your Mac, select the “Search for Projects” option to search your hard drive for it
  • If the project is not saved in the cloud and you recently switched computers (or hard drives), you may need to copy over your Direct Mail project from your old machine.
