When someone uses an email signup form to join your list, you can automatically send them a "welcome to the list" email. This is done using our autoresponders feature. Here's how:
- Navigate to the Autoresponders tab
- Click New Autoresponder or click + in the toolbar and choose New Autoresponder. A new autoresponder is created.
- From the pop-up menu titled Choose the message that sends when this autoresponder is triggered, choose the message that you want to send when someone joins your list
- Under the section titled Choose the event that triggers this autoresponder, choose the trigger named Subscribing to a mailing list
- Under the section titled Select the signup form to watch for new subscribers, check the checkbox next to the email signup form that you created earlier
- Click Start Autoresponder in the toolbar
New subscribers will automatically be sent the message you chose. To learn more about autoresponders, please see this help article.
