Add an Email Signup Form to Your WordPress Site

You can add your email signup form to your WordPress site—on posts, pages, templates, or anywhere the block-based editor is used.

Prerequisites

You will need:

• The ability to edit your WordPress site
• To have created an embedded or pop-up email signup form in Direct Mail

Copy the HTML Code

In Direct Mail, open the form editor window for your signup form and click Install in the toolbar at the top of the window. Copy the HTML code that appears.

Edit Your WordPress Site

Next, navigate to your WordPress site and edit the post, page, or template you'd like to add the form to.

Use the + button in the top-left corner to add a Custom HTML block to your page. The Custom HTML block is found in the Widgets section. Paste the HTML code that you copied earlier into the block. Save your changes.

Test the Form

In your browser, reload your WordPress page and the form should appear. For pop-up forms, you can use Direct Mail's Test Form feature to help test that the form is installed and working properly.
