About Analytics
The following three values are shown:
- Viewed: This is the number of visitors that have viewed your form. For landing page forms, this is the number of page views. For embedded forms, this is the number of times the form has been visible in the viewport (i.e. scrolled into view), capped at once per page load. For pop-up forms, this is the number of times the form (not the callout) has been displayed.
- Submitted: This is the number of times the form has been submitted. For double opt-in forms, this number can be higher than the number of new subscribers, since not all people who submit the form will end up clicking through the confirmation email that is sent to them.
- Abandoned: This is the number of visitors that started filling out the form (either by inputting text or manipulating a control) but did not end up submitting the form. A large number of abandoned forms might indicate that you're asking for too much information, or one of the inputs is a hurdle for some people.
